What is TruSculpt?

TruSculpt is a Radio Frequency treatment device that delivers deep-heat to targeted areas of the body for sculpting, tightening and fat-reduction.

What body areas can the TruSculpt treat?

It is designed to treat multiple areas of the body.  This includes the thighs, buttocks, arms, and neck.

Can TruSculpt be used on all skin types?

Yes, TruSculpt is safe to use on all skin types.

How long are TruSculpt treatment times?

The length of the treatment depends on the size of the area being treated. Treatment to smaller areas (like the neck, or knees) can take up to 20-minutes, and larger areas (like the tummy, or love-handles) can take up to 2-hours.

Am I the right candidate for TruSculpt?

Your provider will determine if treatment is right for you during your consultation. An ideal patient often have a BMI of less than 30 and have unwanted fat in different areas of the body.

Who cannot be treated with TruSculpt?

Patients who cannot be treated with TruSculpt include:

• Women who are pregnant
• Patients who have internal defibrillators or cardiac pacemakers
• Patients with malignant or benign tumors in the target area
• Patients with metallic implants in the target area

How many treatments will there be?

At the time of your consultation, your provider will discuss the number of treatments that may be required to achieve your desired results. A patient typically receives 3-4 treatments to attain maximum effect. Each treatment should be between 3-8 weeks apart.

What do I need to do before a treatment?

There is no preparations needed before a treatment. You will only have to remove any jewelry or body piercings in the area being treated.

What do TruSculpt treatments feel like?

TruSculpt is a comfortable procedure. Due to its unique design, the heating of the area is tolerable. Your comfort is our priority, and your treatment settings will be customized per your comfort level.

When will I start seeing visible results?

TruSculpt delivers Radio Frequency energy and uses the body’s natural system to break down fat-cells in the treated areas. This process takes anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months. You may begin to see results anytime during that period and beyond.

Can I return to normal activities after my treatment?

Yes, the procedure is non-invasive.  You can typically return to normal activities immediately after treatment.

Are there side effects?

The TruSculpt system is designed to provide a safe and comfortable procedure. Generally, there is no downtime after the treatment.  Although, some patients may experience mild discomfort. Side effects include redness, sweating, and some mild tenderness in the treated areas. This usually resolves within a few hours to a few days.

Is TruSculpt FDA-approved?

Yes, TruSculpt treatments are FDA approved for deep tissue heating and the temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite.
