Pay attention to your body

Some side effects are normal after CoolSculpting, such as some pain, swelling, and itching. If you are concerned, contact your provider and report the problems you are experiencing.

In some patients side effects can vary depending on the area treated. The abdomen tends to have the most issues with numbness, tingling and pain post treatment. Other areas such as the thighs, back and love handles usually have little to no side effects.

Take photos

Because it can takes some time for results, it can be difficult to notice when the Coolsculpting procedure is working. Take several photos of your treated areas so you can compare them and more easily visualize the changes taking place.

Be patient

You may notice changes as soon as three weeks after treatment, but the most dramatic results typically are two months after treatment. Your body will continue to flush out the fat cells up to 6 months after treatment. Remember to remain patient and give your body time to discard the dead cells.

Remember that long-term results still depend on you

How long your results last depend on your future behavior. If you eat badly and don’t exercise, CoolSculpting treatment will not stop you from gaining weight.  Although, it may not accumulate in your treatment areas like it did before the procedure. Staying active and maintaining a healthy diet are important to keep yourself looking great.
