– a minimally invasive non surgical procedure, with small needle injections treatment that will improve your sagging profile.
Kybella is the first and only FDA approved non surgical treatment for adults to treat excessive fat underneath the chin, also known as the “double chin”. Kybella is made of deoxycholic acid, a naturally-occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When Kybella is injected into the skin, it destroys fat cells under the chin “melting” the fat and leaving the jawline more contoured. Patients see results in about 4-6 weeks and last for years. No touch-ups needed to maintain the defined look.
What to Expect
Kybella is injected into the fat beneath the patients chin. The fat cells are destroyed and cannot store or produce fat any longer. Kybella is only approved for under the chin at this point. It has been tested only in small areas but may be approved in the near future for the neck area. A typical treatment schedule will include 4-6 visits, depending on how much chin contouring is needed and each visit is about 20 minutes long.
Minor bruising or slight swelling may occur in the injection site, but will fade in about 3 days.
Little to no downtime!
Non surgical treatment performed in an office setting.
Lasting results! Once the fat cells have been destroyed with Kybella, they can no longer store or accumulate fat .
