Vbeam
Laser Your Worries Away!

Regardless of whether you need a skin rejuvenation treatment, you want to fade unaesthetic red or brownish discolorations or want to eliminate pigmentations, lesions or vascular conditions, you have a simple way to address all of them: the pulse dye VBeam laser technology at Ethos Spa Skin and Laser Center.
Similar to other skin laser treatments, the VBeam therapy consists of delivering a mild light burst into the affected area, which will be adjusted according to your type of skin and the condition you want to correct. If you are wondering about the overall safety of the procedure at Ethos Spa Skin and Laser Center, take note that VBeam has been used successfully since the 1980s in treating birthmarks in infants and young children.

How Does VBeam Work?
Unlike standard skin laser treatments, VBeam is painless and much safer for the patient. The explanation why the vast majority of patients only report a mere warming or mild tingling sensation during the procedure resides in the fact that the skin is protected by a cooling mist, which is usually delivered onto the skin before the laser pulse. The cooling mist also dubbed as the DCD method does not only increase the patients’ comfort during the procedure, but also eliminates some of the typical adverse reactions of laser treatments (inflammation, redness, bruising). However, patients with very sensitive skin types can experience side effects in the next few hours following the procedure.
Do You Want Permanent Positive Results?
In regards to the efficiency of the VBeam treatment, it is important to note that the results can be permanent if you follow the physician’s post-care recommendations and, based on the skin condition you corrected, make some lifestyle modifications. For example, if you have had sun spots removed from the skin, then taking prolonged sunbaths will inevitably cause them to reappear. Speaking of sun light exposure, you will most likely have to wear a 30 SPF sunblock before, during and possibly after the treatment.
While there are no special prerequisites to determine if you qualify for the procedure, it is advisable that you discuss the VBeam treatment options with our representatives at our Summit or Englewood, New Jersey spa facility. The pulse dye laser treatment is currently available in 3 distinct packages – Perfecta, Platinum and Aesthetica – each addressing specific skin condition so find out which of these fantastic packages suit your condition and needs!
