There’s any number of reasons you might be looking to have a tattoo removal procedure done. Whatever your reasons, you want to make sure you have safe and effective means to remove that blemish in judgement. The Picosure Laser is renowned for its technological leadership, versatility and performance at removing all kinds of tattoos.

Here’s 3 facts you need to know when considering a  laser tattoo removal.

  1. A Picosecond is 1/1000th of a Nanosecond. Traditional Nanosecond lasers rely on heat to the pigment to start to break down the ink. By applying pulses of energy 100x shorter than a traditional laser, the Picosure literally shatters the ink particles so they can be easily eliminated by the body.
  2. Watch out for white ink! Not all ink colors are created equal when it comes time for laser tattoo removal. Blacks, red, blue and green inks are among the easiest to remove, sometimes with effective results in only one visit. Yellows, Orange and pink can be challenging, but not impossible to remove. However, lasers cannot target white ink, making it the most difficult, if not impossible,  color to remove. Consult with our highly trained staff to ask how we can help with your specific project.
  3. Laser tattoo removal doesn’t have to be a pain. In fact, it’s much less painful than getting the tattoo in the first place. Sensitive areas can be treated with an injectible anesthetic. Larger areas can be treated with a topical numbing agent, and a dermal cooler can be applied to mitigate any heating concerns.
