PRP Injections AKA "The Vampire Face Lift"

Have you heard of the “Vampire Face Lift” and wondered if the procedure would make you look ageless? Using platelet rich plasma(PRP) from a patient’s own blood, the Dr. uses a process to activate blood growth factors which can then stimulate stem cells lying dormant in the skin and subcutaneous tissue. This is injected into the area that you want to revitalize and rejuvenate. There is little to no downtime following the procedure because the patient is injected with their own blood. PRP injections have also been used to treat hair growth. This is a treatment that can be used in conjunction with other hair restoration treatments. The patient’s blood is extracted, separated in a centrifuge and injected into the scalp. The PRP stimulates the hair follicles to re-grow hair.
